Lydia Sabourin, currently a senior at the University of Vermont studying Economics, Business, and Law & Society. I love being a teacher and find joy in helping those in need. A fun fact about myself is that I am also a cheerleading coach.

At the Vermont Landlord Association, I assist landlords with navigating and analyzing the Vermont Emergency Rental Assistance Program (VERAP). The Vermont Emergency Rental Assistance Program is a federally funded grant program made to assist qualifying Vermont tenants with the cost of housing. VERAP can help pay back and future rent payments up to 12 months, utility payments, rental repair reimbursement, money to move to a more sustainable rental unit, and mediation costs. I can offer assistance with understanding these programs to help smooth applying for VERAP Grants. I can also explain the rules and restrictions of the rental assistance portion of the program. Lastly, I can assist with further customer services assistance recovery, such as technical errors, update questions, and more.
